Better Than Lorenzo Rossi

In an interview with Reuters on Wednesday (3/16/2011), 2010 MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo, claiming to be underdogs in the race to maintain his performance in season 2011. However, the Spanish rider claims is still better than Valentino Rossi today.

"Favourites this year is Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner, the new me, my colleague Ben Spies, Marco (Simoncelli), and Andrea (Dovizioso)," said Lorenzo via international telephone from Doha, Qatar. For him, Dani and Stoner is a strong rider, very tough, and has a fast motor.

Mallorca-born racer 23 years ago this did not look down upon Simoncelli and Dovizioso equally from Honda. However, Dani and Stoner was showing when the awesomeness Honda RC212V at Sepang (Malaysia) in the test session, including in Losail (Qatar), recently.

About Ducati, Lorenzo judge them not in peak condition even though it can get maximum results. When asked about the possibility Ducati win, "Maybe yes, maybe not. What is clear, he (Rossi) would experience a difficult competition, maybe more than ever before in his career," said Lorenzo.
